New Materials New Diagrams

After looking into materials I decided to take a trip to home depot and look around. I really fell in love with all the textures and patterns of tile slabs and decided to repurpose the tiles in my studies. This study shows the same relationships I was trying to show before using negative space. I had to further abstract the piece from the original image because of the uniformity of the tile pieces that I was working with. The pieces are held onto the tile slabs using locktite glue with will hopefully hold and dry clear.
