Spectral frequencies

I've been a little busy, working on folding the sound over and over. I accidentally discovered that now that all the sounds are interacting, you can isolate each frequency of the sound and they stand on their own as an experience.

First rendered video

I'm playing with time and linear sequencing. This is my first 30s clip which will make it's way into the composition with the audio.

Coalescence

I sat inside sound for awhile in order to drown out the chaos of this week. This is finally starting to take the shape I want it to have. Also, I finally found a title I like.

I'm experimenting with new layering techniques, creating a larger more confusing space. This will be an opening part of the piece.

Binaural tones

This is a new experiment working with binaural tones. The beginning part is more where i'm leading, still trying to layout the rest of the tones.

Postcard Ideas

Since we weren't able to get together today I thought I'd share two concepts I had for the postcard. Please let me know if you like them or any part of them, maybe we can collaborate our ideas.

Creating Constraints

I've been doing some deep research into the science of Psychoacoustics (brain waves and music). By finding the boundaries and following a pattern of frequency behavior, I now have a pattern to follow to induce a state of meditative transience. I would like to couple this audio manipulation with parts of learning, as learning new things is often as hard as letting things go, like the parts of our brains that worry about our own struggles. I'm sure in a week the outcome will be a little different, but now I have a path to follow. Story boards to follow.
